Head of Finance

A national social welfare charity is recruiting for a strategic Head of Finance to lead its financial operations. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Trustees, you will manage a small finance team and ensure robust financial planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Prepare reports for the Board of Trustees and Finance Committee
  • Oversee year-end accounts, audits, and risk assessments
  • Support grant reporting and contract funding compliance
  • Line manage finance officers and a management accountant

Requirements:

• • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong charity finance knowledge (SORP, restricted funds, etc.)
  • Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills
  • Experience preparing financial reports for a Board
