Salary: £45,000 FTE

We are partnering with a respected provider of mental health housing and support services to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a CQC-regulated residential service in East London on an interim 3-month basis with possibility of extension.

This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated and established team delivering high-quality, recovery-focused support to adults living with mental health needs. The service is committed to helping residents build independence, achieve personal goals, and live fulfilling lives within their communities.

As Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping service quality, developing staff, strengthening best practice, and ensuring residents receive safe, effective, person-centred care.

You must be available to start immediately. 

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and performance of a CQC-regulated mental health residential service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing visible and supportive leadership to the staff team
• Ensuring the service consistently meets CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Driving high-quality, recovery-focused and person-centred support
• Leading safeguarding, risk management, incident reporting, and quality assurance processes
• Supporting and developing staff through supervision, coaching, and performance management
• Managing service performance, budgets, and operational outcomes
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and regulators
• Leading service improvement initiatives and embedding best practice across the service
• Promoting independence, social inclusion, and positive outcomes for residents
• Ensuring safe staffing levels and effective service delivery
• Leading on inspections, audits, compliance activity, and continuous improvement plans

For this role, you must have previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager within an adult social care or mental health service, and hold an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
