Contract: Fixed-term – 3 months

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £45,000k

We are partnering with a well-established provider of supported housing services to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a CQC-regulated mental health service supporting adults with complex needs.

This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for the quality, safety, and performance of a residential service. The service benefits from a stable staff team who are committed to residents, with the key challenge centred on capability development, compliance, and embedding consistent best practice.

The role

As Registered Manager, you will have overall accountability for:

  • The safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of care in line with CQC standards
  • Leadership and development of a Team Leader and support staff team
  • Embedding robust safeguarding, incident reporting, and quality assurance practices
  • Delivering and sustaining a comprehensive service improvement plan
  • Strengthening supervision, reflective practice, and performance management
  • Managing financial performance and ensuring long-term service sustainability
  • Building strong relationships with commissioners, regulators, and external partners

You will play a key role in resetting expectations, addressing historic poor practice, and supporting the team through positive, values-led change.

About you

You will be an experienced Registered Manager with:

  • Proven leadership within CQC-regulated mental health or supported housing services
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
  • Confidence leading teams through improvement, change, and capability development
  • A calm, structured, and supportive leadership style
  • Experience working with commissioners and regulatory bodies

Backgrounds from supported housing, local authority, or not-for-profit settings are particularly welcome.
